Christ's Invitation

Jesus Christ issued an invitation to the world when He stepped down from Heaven into earth.  He chose to take our place, to die for our sins, so that we might be reconciled to God.

"For Christ (the Messiah) has not entered into a sanctuary made with (human) hands, only a copy and pattern and type of the true one,

but He has entered into Heaven itself, now to appear in the (very ) presence of God on our behalf."
 Hebrews 9:24 ( AMP)

What an electrifying scene that must have been in Heaven, when Jesus walked in the throne room of God, living proof that He had done what the Father had sent Him to do!

Oh, the praise that must have erupted at the sight of Christ, the Risen Savior.

Jesus became our High Priest, making it possible for us to enter into the very presence of God.

"So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most." - Hebrews 4:-14-16 (NLT)

This is God's invitation to us, to come before Him, naked, and completely exposed.  Because He is light, everything will be exposed, and nothing will be hidden from Him.

However, we never have to be afraid of dropping our guard before Him.  He will never push us away or reject us because of what His light shows.

This is the purest form of love that exists! He sees us as we truly are, and yet He calls us to open our hearts so that He might come in!

We all have that inner yearning to be loved unconditionally.

I have made that decision to open my heart to this Love.

What about you?

Have you experienced that unconditional love that Jesus offers?

We would love to hear about it.
