Deflect Grumbling Reflect Love

I'm a 'note taker', so, when I was changing back to my favorite wallet this morning, I found a couple of quotes that I had jotted down while listening to two speakers.   Every time I read these two quotes they remind me to check my attitude.

This morning I got to thinking of my ever present Companion, Jesus, and wondering how often He hears my attitude instead of my gratitude each day.

These are some attitudes I found in myself.

I find it easy to get agitated with drivers who cut in front of me every morning on the way to work, forcing their way to the front.

People who talk on their cell phones while trying to check out in a store, while the employee stands waiting for them to finish their purchase.

As followers of Christ, we are supposed to be salt and light to this world (Matthew 5:13-16).  So, I need a checkup from the neck up!

Here's my plan....I keep appointment cards attached to my bathroom mirror so that I don't forget them.   Today, I'm putting a card there that says: "Don't grumble today, reflect Christ!"

Do everything without complaining or arguing. Then you will be blameless and innocent. - Philippians 2:14-15

Let's start a movement to banish grumbling!

Who's with me?  We would love for you to share any ideas you may have that would help us all to remember to be grateful.  Feel free to drop us a line, or visit The Flowing Well Facebook page.
