Do you ever wonder if Life Has More to Offer?
John 3:17 (NKJV) - "For God did not send His Son into the world to *condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be *saved".
Let's look at the definition of these two words.
Condemn - decide mentally or judicially, implying, to try, condemn, punish, avenge, conclude, damn, decree, determine, call in question, sentence, make an opinion, to decide favorably or unfavorably, to lay waste, to disintegrate. (Strong's Concordance #2919)
The New Testament often uses this word to describe spiritual destruction. Destruction for the sinner does not result in annihilation or extinction. It is not loss of being, but loss of
(Word Wealth- Strong's #622, from New Life Spirit Bible)
Saved - (Sozo - pronounced sode - zoe) Strong's #4982
To save, heal, cure, preserve, keep safe and sound, rescue from danger or destruction, deliver. Sozo - means save from physical death by healing, and from spiritual death by forgiving sin and its effects. Sozo in primitive culture is translated simply "to give life, and to cause to have a new heart".

My Thoughts: God didn't send His Son, Jesus, into the world to damn, destroy or punish. Jesus came to this world of human beings to rescue us from destruction and eternal annihilation. He came to break the grip of sin on our lives by dying for the sins of every person that has ever lived or will be born. Jesus' unquenchable, inexhaustible love for us caused Him to lay down the power and glory of heaven and step down into our lives to bring us the promise of freedom and eternal life.
