TAKE TIME

Each day that dawns brings twenty-four hours without fail.

I don't know about you but, I have been guilty of saying,  "I just don't have time for this."

The  reality is that most of us usually make time for things that are important to us.

Could it be that our priorities are out of order?

I heard a great example of priorities recently:

A man was dressing for work one morning buttoning his shirt, beginning with the bottom button.  When he got to the top button he realized there was no buttonhole.

Sometimes our lives get "out of order",but if we will make God the "Top Button" in our lives, everything else will line up properly.

As the year draws to a close,  let's plan to make a real effort to "make the main thing the main thing".  Let's focus our attention on our relationship with God, at the beginning of each new day that He so graciously blesses us with.

If we'll resolve to do this, I have a feeling life will become a lot less stressful.

You are Loved!

Aren't two sparrows sold for a penny?  Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father's consent.  But even the hairs of your head have all been counted.  So don't be afraid therefore, you are worth more than many sparrows.  ( Matthew 10:29-30)

Nothing that takes place in our lives is of no importance to God.  If He cares for the little birds when they fall, surely he care for us.

When we feel that He isn't listening to our cries, He is. When it seems that all hope is gone, it's not.

If He loves us enough to know the number of hairs on our head, then surely He is concerned about everything that concerns us.

Tell yourself every day...
JESUS LOVES ME THIS I KNOW, FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO!

It's Okay to Ask God Questions

Many people wonder if it's okay to question God when life gets hard.

We all have tough questions that we would like answered as we walk through this life.  Several years ago as I was pondering over some of my life issues, I found answers that brought great peace and understanding to me.  I would like to share those thoughts with you in hope that you will find the answers and comfort you're searching for.

Question:  Will God ever ask too much of us?

God wants to see walls that we have erected come crumbling down.  He wants to bring us up out of a pit we may be in.  He desires to free us from the prison bars of sin. He wants to be the one who makes that happen.

Question:  Do we comprehend the power and authority of the One we are seeking answers from when we invoke the name of God?

God is omnipotent, that is all powerful.  His word alone can defeat any enemy, and break any power. When we allow Him to speak to our problems, walls crumble beneath our feet.  God's word brings physical and spiritual healing, and destroys any army or force; nothing is too difficult for God.

In those times when we stand helpless before the enemy and cry out to God, He will be our defense.  The way that God chooses to help us may not be the way we would have chosen, but it will always be the best way.  I have found that when I lay down my will for God's will, life becomes so much better!

Do you have questions in your life today?

I encourage you to bring all your questions to God today, lay down your plans and accept His plans for you,  and the Invincible God, Jehovah, will defeat any enemy that comes before you.  He will enable you to walk through your sea of problems to a life of peace even in the midst of all the issues you may encounter in life.

No power, no force, no army,
no demons can ever defeat our God!

Surrendering our will to God  means letting Him have complete charge and control of our lives.  I know that the thought of someone controlling us is scary sounding, but God does not take away our free will.  He merely asks that we believe that He loves us, and desires for us to be all that we were created to be.   He is the only One we can trust completely because He is not just truthful,  He is Truth.  There is no one else anywhere that can help us and give peace and deliverance from anything like God.

Let's quit saying, "Lord, if it's your will...It is His will to deliver us, and He will always give us the freedom to allow His desires to be done. You and I never need be fearful of the outcome He brings when we do life His way, for the outcome will always be better than anything we would have imagined possible.

Pray Big

Are you praying big?

"Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you.

For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and he who keeps on knocking the door will be opened."
- Matthew 7:7-8  Amplified Bible (AMP)

God has a plan and purpose for each of us....

Our part is to seek Him and His plan. This calls for a determination to follow His plan
regardless of how impossible it may seem.  It calls for surrender of our will in exchange for His will, which is a huge step to take.

Our human nature wants to see where He's leading us first, and what He has planned.

Be assured that God will never take us to a wrong place in life.  When we agree to follow Him without knowing all the details, we will never be disappointed.

God has great and mighty plans, and He wants us to partner with Him in those plans.

DON'T GIVE UP,
A NEW DAY IS DAWNING!

Christ's Invitation

Jesus Christ issued an invitation to the world when He stepped down from Heaven into earth.  He chose to take our place, to die for our sins, so that we might be reconciled to God.

"For Christ (the Messiah) has not entered into a sanctuary made with (human) hands, only a copy and pattern and type of the true one,

but He has entered into Heaven itself, now to appear in the (very ) presence of God on our behalf."
 Hebrews 9:24 ( AMP)

What an electrifying scene that must have been in Heaven, when Jesus walked in the throne room of God, living proof that He had done what the Father had sent Him to do!

Oh, the praise that must have erupted at the sight of Christ, the Risen Savior.

Jesus became our High Priest, making it possible for us to enter into the very presence of God.

"So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most." - Hebrews 4:-14-16 (NLT)

This is God's invitation to us, to come before Him, naked, and completely exposed.  Because He is light, everything will be exposed, and nothing will be hidden from Him.

However, we never have to be afraid of dropping our guard before Him.  He will never push us away or reject us because of what His light shows.

This is the purest form of love that exists! He sees us as we truly are, and yet He calls us to open our hearts so that He might come in!

We all have that inner yearning to be loved unconditionally.

I have made that decision to open my heart to this Love.

What about you?

Have you experienced that unconditional love that Jesus offers?

We would love to hear about it.
